Solutions Engineer

We're seeking a Solutions Engineer to serve as a technical bridge between our engineering team, business stakeholders, and third-party partners. This role combines technical expertise with strategic thinking and exceptional communication skills to drive successful technical implementations and optimize our digital presence. This role reports to the Director of Engineering.

Responsibilities:

Technical Integration & Partnership Management

Evaluate and vet third-party technical solutions for compatibility with existing systems
Lead technical integration projects with external partners
Develop and maintain technical documentation for integrations
Troubleshoot complex technical issues across the technology stack

Technical Leadership & Communication

Translate technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, SEO, and Visual Merchandising
Drive technical optimization initiatives

Performance Optimization

Monitor and improve web performance metrics
Implement and manage Google Tag Manager integrations
Help facilitate data flow for analytics metrics to GA4

Requirements:

5+ years of relevant technical experience
Experience working with third-party vendors and non owned javascript/external code
Background in teaching or technical training
Knowledge of SEO and marketing technology
Experience with technical project management
Strong understanding of modern web frameworks (React, MERN stack)
Experience with Rails and Shopify development
Familiarity with both theme and app development in Shopify
Understanding of web performance optimization techniques
Experience with Google Tag Manager and GA4
Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Experience in cross-functional collaboration
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Strategic leader who anticipates challenges and implements preventive solutions to minimize disruption to team productivity and business outcomes
