Sommelier Server

In this role, you will combine your beverage knowledge, sales skills, and hospitality expertise to recommend and serve beverage pairings that delight the senses. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure every guest feels valued and leaves with a memorable impression. This position offers an exciting opportunity to have access to a unique beverage program with rare and old vintages of wine.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and present the beverage menu, offering personalized recommendations based on their preferences
• Assist guests in selecting wines by providing detailed descriptions, pairing suggestions,
• Properly serve beverages using correct techniques, ensuring presentation aligns with professional standards and food safety guidelines
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of our wine list, including varietals, regions, vintages, and food pairings to answer guest questions confidently

Qualifications

• Proven restaurant experience with a strong background in serving and customer service within fine dining environments
• Familiarity with POS systems such as TOAST for efficient order entry and cash handling
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and meal preparation techniques
• Sales skills with a focus on upselling wines and enhancing guest satisfaction through personalized recommendations
• Strong communication skills combined with a friendly, energetic demeanor that fosters positive guest interactions

Pay: $22.00 - $31.25 per hour
