- Imaging Procedures: Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations and
undertake gynecological baseline, ovarian follicular tracking, and first trimester
ultrasound scans.
- Patient Care: Prepare patients by explaining procedures, answering questions,
and positioning them for optimal imaging.
- Technical Expertise: Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot complex ultrasound
equipment, ensuring quality images.
- Documentation: Analyze, record, and document findings to create a preliminary
report for interpreting physicians.
- Clinical Judgment: Use independent judgment to identify normal versus
pathological conditions and adapt scans to capture necessary data.
- Safety &: Ethics: Maintain strict patient confidentiality, adhere to safety protocols
(e.g., BMUS guidelines), and uphold medical ethics.
Job Requirements
- Education: Completion of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program
(Associate or Bachelor’s degree).
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar clinical setting.
- Certification: Registration with Saudi Commission with a valid license
- Skills: Strong anatomical knowledge, technical proficiency, attention to detail,
and excellent communication skills.
