Sonographer

• Imaging Procedures: Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations and

undertake gynecological baseline, ovarian follicular tracking, and first trimester

ultrasound scans.

• Patient Care: Prepare patients by explaining procedures, answering questions,

and positioning them for optimal imaging.

• Technical Expertise: Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot complex ultrasound

equipment, ensuring quality images.

• Documentation: Analyze, record, and document findings to create a preliminary

report for interpreting physicians.

• Clinical Judgment: Use independent judgment to identify normal versus

pathological conditions and adapt scans to capture necessary data.

• Safety &amp: Ethics: Maintain strict patient confidentiality, adhere to safety protocols

(e.g., BMUS guidelines), and uphold medical ethics.

Job Requirements

• Education: Completion of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program

(Associate or Bachelor’s degree).

• Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar clinical setting.
• Certification: Registration with Saudi Commission with a valid license
• Skills: Strong anatomical knowledge, technical proficiency, attention to detail,

and excellent communication skills.
