Sourcing Analyst Position Summary:

The Sourcing Analyst is responsible for reviewing, evaluating, recommending, and documenting supply cost and utilization data to present to Supply Chain Teams and Value Analysis Committees which promote the acquisition of cost-effective, high-quality products in efforts to bring the most value to the healthcare system. The Sourcing Analyst routinely identifies supply chain solutions and contractual strategies that can be leveraged to address waste reduction, maximization of GPO/aggregate and vendor partnerships, and standardization of products or vendors across the system. They must navigate complex agreements to understand commitment requirements and usage patterns to be able to ascertain anticipated annual costs. They should conduct in-depth data analytics to compare current state to future state as well as provide directive as to actions required to obtain desired operational states. The Sourcing Analyst should be able to communicate all analyses effectively and communicate concise recommendations based on the data to the Contract Manager, SC leadership, Supply Chain and Value Analysis Teams, as well as department leaders, and distribution partners. They will collaborate with the SC Leadership Team and Contract Specialist to develop best approach.

Sourcing Analyst Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or data analytics related field required.

Experience:

• Three (3) years of experience in data analytics required.
• Proficiency with in-depth data analysis and comparative cost analytics required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel required.
• Contract and Sourcing experience preferred.
• Healthcare industry experience preferred.
• Experience with procurement platforms and analytical reporting tools preferred.
• Experience in healthcare supply chain management principles and concepts in procurement, inclusive of GPO and distribution partnerships helpful.

Sourcing Analyst Schedule:

• Primarily day shift, Monday through Friday
• Weekends and holidays may be required as needed.
