- Manage end-to-end sourcing and procurement activities through the GeM portal, including product listing, bidding, reverse auctions, and order processing.
- Identify and analyze relevant defence procurement opportunities on GeM and other government tender platforms.
- Prepare and submit technical and financial bids as per GeM/Defence tender requirements.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (technical, finance, logistics) to ensure timely and compliant bid submission.
- Liaise with defence departments, PSUs, and government buyers for tender clarifications, order follow-up, and contract execution.
- Maintain updated records of GeM transactions, order status, payment follow-ups, and vendor/buyer communications.
- Ensure compliance with Defence Procurement Policy (DPP), GFR, and other relevant government procurement guidelines.
- Analyze market trends, vendor performance, and cost-saving opportunities for strategic sourcing.
- Support vendor registration, product catalog management, and documentation on GeM.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2–5 years of experience in government or defence sourcing, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience on the GeM portal.
- Strong knowledge of GeM bidding procedures, reverse auctions, and order management.
- Familiarity with defence procurement processes, tender documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and online tender management systems.
