Sous Chef

Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Sous Chef to support kitchen operations at YummyFri. The Sous Chef will assist in managing daily food preparation, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring smooth kitchen workflow in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing and cooking menu items (burgers, fried chicken, fries, desserts, and drinks)
  • Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control
  • Supervise kitchen helpers and support staff during shifts
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards at all times
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management
  • Ensure all orders are prepared quickly and accurately, especially during peak hours
  • Help develop and improve recipes and menu items when needed
  • Follow YummyFri’s kitchen procedures and quality standards

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a fast food or restaurant kitchen (preferred)
  • Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle busy shifts
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Basic leadership skills (ability to guide helpers)
  • Flexible working hours (evenings, weekends, late shifts)

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,800.00 per hour
