Job Brief

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Sous Chef who can lead the kitchen with confidence and care. In this role, you will guide the team, manage daily work, and make sure every dish that leaves the kitchen meets high standards. If you love cooking, love order, and enjoy helping others grow, this role is made for you.

Experience in European or Mediterranean cuisine is a must for this role.

Responsibilities

• Run daily kitchen operations and make sure all stations are ready before service.
• Lead the kitchen team, assign tasks, and give coaching during shifts.
• Check ingredients, track stock, and request items when needed.
• Make sure every dish looks good, tastes right, and follows the recipe.
• Ensure the kitchen is clean, safe, and follows hygiene rules.
• Check and care for all kitchen equipment; report repair needs on time.
• Manage small tools and utensils and keep backups ready.
• Reduce waste, watch portions, and help control food cost.
• Prepare daily reports on stock, wastage, and staff performance.
• Train the team on recipes, cooking methods, and menu items.
• Support team growth by giving feedback, coaching, and recognition.

Qualifications

• Experience working as a Sous Chef or in a similar kitchen leadership role.
• Strong experience in European/Mediterranean cuisine.
• Strong knowledge of cooking methods, recipes, and food safety.
• Ability to guide, train, and motivate a kitchen team.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Strong sense of responsibility, cleanliness, and time management.
