Spa Therapist

Conditions of Work:
Flexibility in working hours. Presence is needed mostly in the Spa and to liaise with external parties (other
departments) to promote the Spa. As per local labour law, 48 hours per week plus one hour break per day. This will
be divided into number of working days depending on the business demand. All overtime will be returned in Lieu
Spa Operating hours vary across each site, 7 days a week.
Financial and Reporting

• To be aware of the department's performance relating to Quality.
• To be aware of the cost savings that can be made and implemented as agreed. Respect the usage of

professional products & adhere to the guidelines given for each treatment.

• To be aware of the financial position and targets.
• Responsible for individual retail and treatment revenue targets as well as repeat guests bookings including

upselling, recommendations and cross-promotions.

• Colleagues will be expected to reach personal assigned targets for retail and treatments. If failure to reach

these targets after consistent training, disciplinary action will take place.
Main Duties:

• To report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and nametag and follow good hygiene habits at all

times. Make- up is a requirement for female therapists & hair up as per the standard.

• Perform professional services according to standards with attention to detail and in a prompt timely manner.
• Advise guests of spa service programs, treatments and products available at the spa.
• Assist in promoting spa & body care products to guests and offer full product knowledge. This is part of the

treatment standards to recommend products.

• Ensure all treatment rooms are fully set up before beginning a treatment according to standards and

procedures. Request, and collect stock & supplies in accordance with minimum stock levels.

• Assist in keeping accurate written records of treatments and products used in view of repeat guests.
• Participate in ongoing training, with assistance from your designated trainer and continue to improve your

skill.

• To replenish all necessary items in male/female spa promptly.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area consistent with the high standards of the facility
