The Strategic Mandate: In alignment with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and the rapid expansion of the Saudi space sector, Space TD is appointing a Space Technology Director to spearhead our technical roadmap from our headquarters in the Olaya District. This is not a traditional IT role; it is a high-level engineering leadership position responsible for the development, integration, and deployment of next-generation satellite systems and orbital technologies. Based in Tower 34, you will be the primary technical authority, bridging the gap between national space objectives and private-sector innovation.

Technical Leadership Profile: To succeed in this mission, you must possess a minimum of 15 years of experience in aerospace engineering or space systems design, with at least 5 years in a senior directorial capacity. A Master’s degree or PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Astrophysics, or Satellite Communications is required. We are looking for a leader with a proven track record in managing complex satellite life-cycles, orbital mechanics, and ground-station infrastructure. Your ability to navigate international space regulations while building a high-performance local engineering team is critical for this Riyadh-based role.

Core Objectives at Tower 34:

• Designing and executing the multi-year technology roadmap for satellite deployment and space-data services.
• Overseeing R&D initiatives focused on miniaturized satellite tech and secure space-to-ground communication protocols.
• Managing strategic partnerships with the Saudi Space Agency and international aerospace entities.
• Building a robust "Saudization" talent pipeline by mentoring high-potential local aerospace engineers.
• Ensuring all technical operations comply with CITC regulations and international space treaties.

Candidate Status: Priority is given to candidates currently residing in Riyadh with a transferable Iqama or those eligible for the Saudi Premium Residency.
