Spanish LPN or RN Atlanta AM PM

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Spanish speaking LPNs and RNs to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidates will provide high-quality patient care across various settings, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, assisted living, and home health environments. This role requires a strong commitment to patient safety, comfort, and dignity, with the ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations, including those with complex medical needs such as dementia, Alzheimer's, and developmental disabilities. The Nurses will play a vital role in supporting licensed healthcare professionals and ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Duties

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts.
  • Monitor and record vital signs accurately using appropriate techniques.
  • Support patients with medication administration under supervision, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and safety protocols.
  • Maintain detailed medical documentation within systems such as Wellsky or eClinicalWorks.
  • Provide specialized care for patients with dementia, Alzheimer's, or memory care needs, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
  • Assist in procedures requiring aseptic technique and infection control measures for infectious disease care or surgical settings.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in outpatient clinics, inpatient units, or community-based care programs to deliver comprehensive patient service.
  • Educate patients and families on health management strategies tailored to geriatrics, pediatrics, behavioral health, or hospice care needs.
  • Adhere strictly to medical records management standards and maintain confidentiality according to HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications

  • Certification or experience in medical-surgical nursing assistance preferred; relevant experience in ICU, emergency medicine, or trauma centers is a plus.
  • Experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, behavioral health patients, or individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of physiology and anatomy relevant to patient care across multiple specialties including cardiology, pulmonology (vital signs), and neurodegenerative conditions (dementia care).
  • Ability to perform basic life support (BLS) certification; additional certifications such as phlebotomy or DME experience are advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment while maintaining patient confidentiality per HIPAA standards.
  • Compassionate attitude with excellent caregiving skills; prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospice care, or home & community care is preferred.
