Spanish or Mandarin Childcare Teacher

About us

WorldKids School of Seattle is looking for a dynamic and energetic Spanish teacher to join our team. The preferred candidate should be a native-level speaker with prior preschool teaching experience. We serve ages eight weeks to five years

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor children's activities to ensure their safety and wellbeing
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote children's physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development
• Teach Mandarin Chinese in an Immersion Early Childhood setting. Prepare and serve meals and snacks that meet children's nutritional needs
• Maintain a clean and organized daycare environment, including toys, equipment, and supplies
• Collaborate with parents to ensure that their children's needs are being met
• Keep records of children's daily activities and progress, and share them with parents as needed
• Attend staff meetings and professional development training as required

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Fluency in Spanish
• Experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting
• Certification in CPR and First Aid
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Willingness to complete all trainings required by DCYF

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
