Duties

• Assist attorney with preparing and reviewing immigration-related documents, including petitions, applications, and forms in both English and Spanish
• Conduct client interviews in Spanish to gather necessary information and explain legal procedures clearly and empathetically
• Review and organize legal documents, contracts, and evidence for case preparation and litigation support
• Draft legal correspondence, affidavits, and reports with precision while maintaining high standards of proofreading and transcription
• Support administrative functions such as data entry, filing, scheduling appointments, and maintaining organized case calendars
• Communicate professionally with clients via phone and email in both Spanish and English, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and organizational skills

Skills

• Fluency in both Spanish and English is essential; strong written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English are required
• Proven paralegal experience with familiarity in immigration law is strongly preffered but not required
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
• Experience preparing immigration applications and supporting evidence and data entry
• Exceptional attention to detail and client service skills
• Track case deadlines and maintain case files
• Ability to conduct interviews effectively while demonstrating professionalism and empathy in sensitive situations
