Job Summary

Fayetteville Montessori School is seeking a passionate and creative Part-Time Spanish Teacher to join our team. The Spanish Teacher will be responsible for creating and implementing a Spanish curriculum for children ranging from 18 months through elementary age in a Montessori learning environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate Spanish lessons for multiple age groups (toddler through elementary).

• Introduce Spanish vocabulary, songs, stories, and cultural activities to promote language development and cultural appreciation.

• Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate Spanish into the overall Montessori curriculum.

• Foster a positive, nurturing classroom environment that supports each child’s individual learning style.

• Maintain clear communication with staff and administration regarding student progress and classroom needs.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish (native or near-native proficiency required).

• Experience working with young children in an educational setting preferred.

• Ability to design developmentally appropriate curriculum for various age groups.

• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

• Interest or experience in Montessori education is a plus (training can be provided).

Schedule and Hours

• Part-time, flexible schedule (approximately 10–20 hours per week, depending on class rotation).

Compensation

• Based on experience and qualifications.
