Pioneer Academy is seeking a highly effective Spanish teacher with 2-3 years of teaching experience for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned Spanish lessons.
• Develop students’ language proficiency through reading, writing, speaking, and listening activities.
• Incorporate cultural studies to enhance students’ understanding of Spanish-speaking countries and global perspectives.
• Utilize interactive and immersive teaching strategies to support language acquisition.
• Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, projects, quizzes, and exams.
• Create a classroom environment that fosters communication, confidence, and a love for language learning.
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning needs and language proficiency levels.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate cross-disciplinary learning and support bilingual education initiatives.
• Provide additional academic support to students through tutoring or small-group instruction.
• Stay updated on best practices in language education and incorporate innovative teaching techniques.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate progress with parents and guardians.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting.

This position is for the 2026/2027 academic year.

Salary range:

$60,000 - $70,000 commensurate with experience.
