Spanish Teacher for Children (Part-Time Mornings & 1+ Years Teaching Experience Required)

We’re looking for a enthusiastic and dependable part-time teacher to introduce Spanish to toddlers and preschoolers starting this month This is a year-round position, perfect for those who love working with young children!

• Beginning-Intermediate Spanish Required: If you studied Spanish in high school or college, or you are native Spanish speaker you will do great because use will use our engaging curriculum to confidently teach basic Spanish.

Position Details:

• Role: Teacher for Toddlers and Preschoolers teaching beginning Spanish between the hours of 9:00-11:30 am.
• Compensation: $25/hour for teaching and $16/hour for training
• Locations: If you live in or nearby Rochester, MN. please apply as we have classes for you!
• Schedule: We currently have classes on Wednesday mornings from 9:00-11:30 am and on Thursday mornings from 9:00-10:30 am. (The Thursday classes will be a short-term subbing job to fill in for another teacher on leave.) If you can teach other weekday mornings, we will work on expanding to new clients on other mornings.

Candidate Requirements:

Experience:

• Minimum of one year of teaching experience, preferably with young children (teaching licensure not required)
• We also welcome applicants with experience working with kids in other settings, such as camp counseling, sports coaching, substitute teaching, or similar roles. If you have a passion for working with children and relevant experience in any capacity, we’d love to see your resume.
• Qualities: Reliable, enthusiastic, outgoing, self-motivated, friendly, fun, silly, and passionate about working with children, plus excellent communication skills.
• Other: Must have a vehicle, driver’s license, and be able to pass a background check
