Spanish Teacher (One day per week)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Spanish Teacher to join our educational team. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive Spanish language curricula aligned with educational standards and student needs.
• Design engaging lesson plans that incorporate various instructional strategies and learning technologies.
• Deliver effective classroom instruction to students across different grade levels, ensuring active participation and comprehension.
• Assess student progress through standardized testing, formative assessments, and performance evaluations.
• Provide individualized tutoring and mentoring to support diverse learning styles and special education needs.
• Manage classroom behavior to create a respectful and productive learning environment.
• Incorporate research-based teaching methods, including literacy education, creative writing, and linguistics principles.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum design, instructional strategies, and school-wide initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress reports in accordance with school policies.
• Engage in professional development opportunities related to higher education teaching, instructional design, and education administration.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of Spanish language instruction, including lesson planning.
• Excellent communication skills for working with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Organizational skills necessary for managing multiple classes, assessments, and administrative tasks.
• Experience with learning technology tools to enhance classroom engagement and instruction delivery.
• Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and literacy education strategies.

• Prior experience in private schools or special education settings is advantageous.
