Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with diverse learning needs, including but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorder. This role involves developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) to ensure that each student receives the support they need to thrive academically and socially.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities.
  • Utilize effective classroom management techniques to create a positive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and specialists to assess student progress and modify instruction as needed.
  • Design curriculum that is accessible and relevant for students with varying abilities.
  • Provide behavioral therapy and support strategies to help students manage challenges effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress towards IEP goals.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with students in a special education.
  • Experience in behavioral therapy techniques is preferred.
  • A commitment to fostering an inclusive classroom that supports all learners.
