Special Education Itinerant Teacher (SEIT)

Omni Childhood Center is looking to hire Special Education Itinerant Teachers (SEIT) (Bilingual a plus - Spanish, Yiddish, Russian, Hebrew) to work with students at the location listed on their IEP’s (Individualized Education Plans) in all 5 boroughs of NYC. Excellent, competitive rates and quick turnaround pay!

Pay:

• Individual Sessions: $68/hr-81/hr
• Group of 2 Sessions: $98/hr-111/hr
• Group of 3 Sessions: $118/hr-131/hr

Requirements:

• NY Public School Teacher Certificate: Permanent Special Education or Students with Disabilities (Birth-Grade 2)
• If bilingual must have bilingual extension certificate

Omni is the winner of numerous Department of Education contracts in the NYC area. Our CPSE and CSE programs offer a broad range of opportunities for licensed therapists and evaluators . In addition, Omni has also been approved to operate as an Early Intervention Program servicing ALL 5 Boroughs of NYC- Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, Staten Island, and the Bronx.

At Omni, therapists can work in their choice of locations such as private, public or parochial schools, daycares, and/or at our onsite clinics. We also provide homecare services for those that want to work with children after school hours or on the weekends. Therapists can also work with a diverse clientele and age groups-mainstream, special education population, EI children, preschool children and /or school-aged children.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $68.00 - $81.00 per hour
