We’re currently seeking a dedicated Special Education Preschool Teacher to join our team in Plainview, Long Island, New York. This is a full-time, permanent floating position within our preschool program, with the potential for assignment to a permanent classroom in the future.

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) that meet each student’s unique needs.
• Inspire and teach young learners with developmental disabilities in a supportive classroom setting.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and specialists to ensure every child receives the best possible care and education.
• Track and celebrate progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
• Foster a nurturing, structured, and positive learning environment.
• Communicate openly and compassionately with students and their families.

What We’re Looking For

• A Master’s degree and at least 1 year of experience working with children with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
• Special Education Teacher Certification (Birth–Grade 2).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A caring, creative, and adaptable educator who thrives in a collaborative team environment.
