• Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays: 8:15 AM – 3:00 PM

Who We’re Looking For

We’re searching for a caring and energetic teacher who believes every child deserves the opportunity to succeed. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, structure, and empathy to the classroom each day.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Special Education or related field
• NYS Certification: Students with Disabilities (Birth–Grade 2 or All Grades)
• Experience working in early childhood and/or with children with special needs
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A love for playful, engaging learning environments

Your Impact

As a Preschool Special Education Teacher at ACDS Pelham, you will:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction using developmentally appropriate strategies
• Design lesson plans tailored to each student’s learning needs and goals
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and related service providers
• Track and document student progress and maintain timely reporting
• Work in partnership with families and school districts to support student success
• Contribute to CPSE meetings and IEP development

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
