Position Overview:

Littlefield Unified School District is seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. This position follows a 10-month schedule with summers off. Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary Range: $41,000 – $53,225 (based on education and experience)
• Additional Earnings: Up to $9,000 in Prop 301 funds
• Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package available
• Location: Beaver Dam Schools, Beaver Dam, Arizona.

Minimum Qualifications

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university.

Certification & Fingerprint Requirements:

• Must hold or be eligible to obtain an Arizona Special Education Teaching Certificate.
• Must possess or be able to obtain an Arizona Department of Public Safety Identity Verified Prints (IVP) fingerprint card.

Required Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of Special Education curriculum and instructional methods.
• Experience working with children, particularly students with special needs, such as Autism or behavioral challenges.
• Background in teaching and/or tutoring.
• Familiarity with inclusive education and integrating special needs students into general education settings.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with staff and engage positively with parents.
