Special Education Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students who have diverse learning needs and are passionate about creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment. ## Duties - Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs - Provide instruction in various subjects, adapting teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each student - Utilize behavior management strategies to support student learning and growth - Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure student success - Incorporate speech therapy and assistive technology into lessons as needed - Create engaging lesson plans that promote literacy education, physical education, and social skills development ## Experience - Previous experience working with children with special needs is required - Familiarity with Montessori or other alternative educational approaches is a plus - Proficiency in using learning technology to enhance student learning outcomes - Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Pay: From $44,000.00 per year
