What You'll Do

• Provide individualized instruction and support to high school students with a variety of learning and developmental needs.

• Design, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's goals and abilities.

• Collaborate with families, school staff, and multidisciplinary teams to support academic, social, and emotional growth.

• Foster an inclusive and engaging classroom environment that promotes confidence, participation, and progress.

• Maintain accurate documentation and ongoing communication with colleagues and caregivers.

• Annual salary range: $57,000–$72,000 (based on experience)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education

• Valid Maine Special Education Endorsement (or eligibility to obtain)

• Experience working with high school students or transition-age youth with diverse learning needs

• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
