Qualifications:

• Experience working with K-12 students (required)
• Active Pennsylvania Instructional I or II Certification in Special Education
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Passion for working with children with diverse learning needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Collaborate with school staff, therapists, and families to support each student's success
• Design engaging, differentiated lesson plans aligned with IEP goals
• Participate in IEP meetings and document student progress regularly
• Create a safe, inclusive, and productive classroom environment
• Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers, inviting them to be active partners in their child's learning
• Coordinate with school therapists on behavioral and disciplinary strategies
• Submit quarterly progress reports and maintain accurate records
