Duties

• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and support staff to create a cohesive educational experience.
• Conduct assessments and standardized testing to monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
• Facilitate speech therapy sessions as needed to support communication development.
• Engage in mentoring relationships with students to promote self-esteem and confidence.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
• Utilize library services and resources to enhance learning opportunities for students.
• Participate in professional development activities to stay current with best practices in special education.

Experience
Candidates should possess a background in early childhood education or related fields. Experience working with preschool-aged children or in private school settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with literacy education techniques, proofreading skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues are essential for success in this role. A passion for supporting students with special needs and a commitment to continuous improvement in teaching practices are crucial attributes for the ideal candidate.

Pay: $53,266.00 - $85,000.00 per year
