Special Education Teacher k-2nd grade 70 to 75 per hr

We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for our K-2nd grade sub separate program, offering a competitive pay rate of $70 to $75 per hour. This is a contract position starting asap and ending at the end of the school year.
Your role will involve creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students with diverse abilities. You will utilize tailored instructional strategies to meet each student's unique needs, fostering both academic and social-emotional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for K-2 students
• Provide specialized instruction in literacy, math, and social skills
• Create a nurturing classroom atmosphere that encourages student engagement
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to enhance educational experiences
• Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting instruction as necessary
• Communicate effectively with families regarding their children's growth and strategies for support

Requirements:
Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Special Education or a related field
• Valid state certification in Special Education. MA or RI
• Experience working with K-2 students with special needs preferred
• Strong knowledge of early childhood development and effective instructional strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create engaging and adaptive learning experiences
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students
