Special educators

We are seeking a committed and compassionate Special Educator to support children with learning difficulties, developmental delays, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, and other diverse needs. You will design and deliver individualized educational plans (IEPs), use adaptive teaching strategies, and collaborate with families and professionals to help each child achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to identify learning difficulties, academic levels, and developmental challenges.
• Create and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each child’s abilities and goals.
• Use multisensory and differentiated teaching methods to support children with special needs (e.g., visual schedules, structured tasks, hands-on activities).
• Modify curriculum content to make it accessible and engaging for all learners.
• Monitor and document student progress; adjust teaching strategies as needed.
• Collaborate with therapists (OT, speech, behavior therapists), parents, and mainstream teachers for integrated support.
• Conduct remedial sessions for children with learning disabilities such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia.
• Provide regular feedback to families and participate in parent-teacher meetings or case conferences.

Qualifications

• Education:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education (B.Ed or M.Ed in Special Education).
• Candidates pursuing special education certification may also be considered for internships
• Experience:

• Freshers with internship or practicum experience are welcome
• Experienced educators (1–5+ years) will be considered for senior role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs35,000.00 - Rs40,000.00 per month
