Eckert Seamans is a full-service national law firm with a strong reputation and a history of success spanning over 65 years. With approximately 300 lawyers across a network of 14 offices, we provide clients with proactive, solution-oriented business and litigation counsel. We seek an Intellectual Property Litigation Attorney in Pittsburgh or Philadelphia. The attorney hired for this position will work directly with partners and associates on litigation matters in a fast-paced, active environment and directly communicate and interact with clients.

The ideal candidate will have experience with all phases of litigation, including conducting factual investigations and discovery, preparing pleadings, taking depositions, and preparing substantive motions in state and federal courts. Prior judicial clerkship experience is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of Intellectual Property experience
  • Excellent academic credentials and strong drafting skills
  • Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Competence and desire to manage a variety of active matters independently
  • Court and deposition experience strongly preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer
  • Must be able to stand, walk, carry, push, pull, reach, stoop, bend, twist, crouch, grasp, and kneel
