Special Projects Manager
Your main responsibilities
- Developing projects within the portfolio, known as Special Projects
- Creating action plans and strategies to increase profitability and unit count
- Ensuring that the team operates in line with the Schindler culture and requirements
- Project monitoring through weekly customer visits
- Conducting risk assessments based on field datas
- Monthly monitoring of project price increases, costs, and all expenses affecting profitability
- Developing and improving service quality to meet customer needs
- Regularly analyzing and monitoring market and service development
What you bring
- Minimum 3 years management experience in project management, construction and industrial machine industry
- Experience in the working environment of an international company is plus
- Proven experience in field team management
- Ability to operate in a matrix organization with country, regional and corporate interaction.
- Sound commercial understanding and business partnership approach.
- Developed skills in coordinating and motivating the department’s employees
- MS Office and SAP knowledge are required
- Business acumen – (Commercial Understanding)
- Ability of effective expression in individual or group situations and ability of clear expression of ideas in writing and in good grammatical form. (Communication)
- Ability to understand and analyze numerical data (Strong Analytical Skills)
- Uses own initiatives, resilient in overcoming difficulties. Completes tasks and achieves goals and meets deadlines. (Achieving Results)
- Ability to integrate and direct the activities of people from different units to achieve complex common goals. (Project Cooperation)
- Ability to establish appropriate courses of action for self and/or others to accomplish a goal. Implementation of plans. Actions taken to ensure this. (Planning and Organization)
