Position : Anesthesiologist

Job Description:

Anesthesiologist is responsible for delivering safe and effective anesthesia care for patients undergoing surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures within hospitals, surgical centers, and other licensed healthcare facilities. The role includes patient assessment, anesthesia planning, delivery, monitoring, and post-operative pain management, while complying with all clinical and regulatory standards set by the DHA and Clinics policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-operative patient assessments, including review of medical history and risk evaluation.
• Develop individualized anesthesia care plans based on patient needs and procedure type.
• Administer general, regional, and local anesthesia appropriately and safely.
• Monitor patient vital signs and physiological responses throughout procedures and adjust anesthesia depth accordingly.
• Manage postoperative recovery, pain control, and potential anesthesia-related complications.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, anesthetic technicians, and other clinical teams.
• Ensure compliance with DHA regulations, facility clinical protocols, documentation, and safety standards.
• Participate in continuous professional development (CME/CPD) and clinical governance activities.

Experience

• Post-specialist clinical experience requirement is minimum 3–5 years in anesthesiology, with senior or consultant roles.
• Dubai work experience preferably in Government and private hospitals, Day surgical centers, Specialized surgical units (obstetrics, orthopedics, cardiology), Pain management and ICU units.

Requirements

• Medical degree (MBBS / MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Completed specialty training in Anesthesiology (typically 4–6-year residency).
• Board certification or equivalent (e.g., Arab Board, FRCA, American Board).
• Immediate Joiners.
• Must be based in Dubai.
