Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Hospital (SSBZH), part of the M42 healthcare network, is seeking a highly skilled Specialist ENT to deliver comprehensive diagnostic, medical, and surgical care. The role places a strong emphasis on advanced otology services, particularly micro ear surgeries, while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety, clinical excellence, and regulatory compliance across outpatient and inpatient settings.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of ENT conditions in adult and pediatric patients.
  • Perform ENT procedures and surgeries within the scope of clinical privileges, with special focus on advanced otologic procedures and micro ear surgeries (e.g., tympanoplasty, mastoidectomy, ossiculoplasty, myringoplasty).
  • Conduct outpatient clinics and provide inpatient consultations and on‑call coverage as required.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including pediatrics, anesthesia, radiology, and nursing services.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive medical records in line with hospital policies and clinical governance standards.
  • Ensure compliance with DOH regulations, hospital bylaws, and quality standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and patient safety programs.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventive care.

Qualifications

  • MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
  • Completion of a recognized ENT (Otolaryngology) specialty training program.
  • Board Certification / CCT / CCST / Arab Board or equivalent qualification.
  • Demonstrated expertise and hands-on experience in micro ear surgery is mandatory.
  • Valid DOH Specialist ENT license or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years post-specialization experience preferred.
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
