Specialist Gastroenterologist - Private Sector

In this role, you will provide expert diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal disorders to patients in a private healthcare setting. You will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, perform diagnostic procedures, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver superior healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients presenting with gastrointestinal symptoms and medical histories.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic investigations such as endoscopies, colonoscopies, and imaging studies.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions including IBS, liver diseases, and inflammatory bowel diseases.
• Develop personalized treatment plans, incorporating medical, endoscopic, and lifestyle interventions.
• Perform therapeutic and diagnostic endoscopic procedures safely and effectively.
• Collaborate with private healthcare teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advances in gastroenterology through continuous education.

Requirements

• Medical degree and valid license to practice as a Specialist Gastroenterologist in the private healthcare sector.
• Proven experience in diagnosing and treating gastrointestinal disorders in a private healthcare environment.
• Expertise in performing and interpreting endoscopic and other diagnostic procedures.
• Strong understanding of private sector healthcare practices and patient management.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple patient cases efficiently.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating productively with multidisciplinary teams.
