Job Purpose Statement
To monitor hygiene & food safety activities of the unit & associated outlets (Ramp office, Canteens, campkitchen, Al Fursan lounges etc.) & report to Supervisor.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Daily monitoring of Hygiene and Food Safety violations / activities in the unit and reporting the same in Shift Hygiene.
- Report & Daily Hygiene Report.
- Coordinate with Head or Supervisor. Quality Controller to sort out the Hygiene and Food Safety issues of the unit & associated outlets.
- Receive feedback of hygiene issues from different sections of the unit and report the same to Head or Supervisor. Quality Controller.
- Investigate with respective departments on customer complaints and give a comprehensive and logical feedback along With correct action taken to the Section head / Supervisor.
- Monitor and Maintain FSMS/HACCP/Food Safety Policy and Standard on the floor of the unit, cafeteria, and associated outlets.
- Impart new hire training, refresher training and on-job-training for all food handlers as per the training plan.
- Daily monitoring of pest control activities undertaken by the pest control technician.
- Hygiene inspection of outlets and other CATRION services as per the plan.
- Periodical monitoring and follow-up on the health cards certificates/medical check-up of all food handlers in the unit & outlets.
- Daily drawing of samples (food, water, handprints, cleaning control) under the supervision of Head or Supervisor. Quality Controller and forwarding the same to central laboratory for microbiological analysis.
- Meticulously maintaining all the hygiene and food safety records on a daily basis.
- Strictly abiding by the shift duty roster and showing due respect to time and discipline.
- Complete any other related tasks assigned by the Section Head / Site Manager.
Skills
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledge of Food Safety
- Management System (FSMS)
- Appropriate knowledge of systems in order to maintain hygiene & food safety standards in the unit.
- Good Laboratory skills in order to communicate, provide hygiene training
- Knowledge of Laboratory Analysis
