The support service assets operation "specialist / Senior Specialist" is responsible for the efficient management of an organization's physical assets (related to Support service unit), within its project sites and/or its building & accommodation facilities. Also to ensure asset register is up to date with relevant information such as maintenance status & disposal SOP.
Overview Responsibilities
- Adhere to organizational policies and procedures to ensure compliance and maintain a productive work environment.
- Implement and uphold safety and security protocols to protect the well-being of all employees and company assets.
- Asset Inventory & movements: Conduct regular assessments to identify and catalogue all assets within the facilities of the organization in selected site / region.
- Record and register assets movement in database related to managed area / project including their condition, location, value, and asset details.
- Ensure all assets are coded correctly.
- Maintenance & Repair: Implement routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades of assets to ensure they operate optimally.
- Coordinate with facility operational team and external vendors (if needed) for timely repairs and servicing and ensuring HSE requirements are followed.
- Conduct audits and inspections to verify compliance on safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Conduct audit to register and plan for preventive maintenance.
- Budget Management: Maintain updated expenses for repair of assets, for further decisions.
- Maintain log for rental offices and accommodations with its required details for project cost allocation purpose.
- Asset Disposal / Replacement: Get all technical requirements and approvals for the required assets to be disposed.
- Ensure that SOP of asset disposal is followed up.
- Receiving & Delivery of asset: Ensure that the support service assets are received and delivered to user as per department policy and procedures.
- Asset utilization
- Analyses asset utilization data to identify opportunities for optimization and cost reduction.
- Ensure the asset management processes meet the business objectives and requirements.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Identify trends & make informed decisions as per asset data log file.
- Conduct regular reports for asset performance, maintenance, and disposal, with different ratio for bench marking purpose.
- Keep reporting for Assets lifespan in the managed region / area.
- Asset Documentation: Maintain detailed records and documentation related to asset specifications, warranties, maintenance history, and financial data.
- Communication: Consider as a focal point in the managed area / region for the support service assets in project / accommodation facilities.
- Miscellaneous Duties: Perform additional duties as needed to support the team and overall business objectives.
Qualifications
Required Academic Qualification
Diploma or bachelor's degree in accounting, or business administration
Years of Experience
1-5 Yrs. experience in Asset management, disposal process, data management, and relevant experience in assets of construction organization facilities.
