As a Specialist Ophthalmologist, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive eye care services, including diagnosis, treatment, and surgical management of eye diseases. You will engage closely with patients to offer personalized and cutting-edge ophthalmic solutions, contributing to the high standards of care that define the private healthcare sector.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed patient assessments and perform advanced diagnostic procedures
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of eye diseases and conditions
• Perform ophthalmic surgeries, such as cataract extraction, refractive surgeries, and other complex procedures
• Develop individualized treatment plans combining medical and surgical options
• Provide expert advice and counseling to patients regarding their eye health and treatment options
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to all regulatory standards and protocols
• Continually update professional knowledge through research, training, and participation in clinical meetings

Requirements

• Medical degree with specialist certification in Ophthalmology
• Proven experience working within private healthcare settings is preferred
• Excellent surgical skills with experience in advanced ophthalmic procedures
• Strong clinical knowledge of ophthalmology and up-to-date with latest treatment methodologies
• Excellent communication and patient management skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a professional multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to delivering high-quality patient-centered care
• Registration with relevant medical and ophthalmological regulatory bodies
