Job Title: Orthodontist
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and patient-focused Orthodontist to join our dental team. The role involves diagnosing, preventing, and treating dental and facial irregularities, designing treatment plans using braces, aligners, and other appliances, and ensuring high standards of patient care and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Examine, diagnose, and evaluate dental and facial irregularities in patients of all age groups.
- Develop and implement customized orthodontic treatment plans.
- Perform procedures including fitting, adjusting, and removing orthodontic appliances such as braces, aligners, expanders, and retainers.
- Monitor treatment progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure desired results.
- Collaborate with general dentists and other specialists for comprehensive patient care.
- Counsel patients and parents regarding treatment options, expected outcomes, duration, and oral hygiene practices.
- Maintain accurate, detailed patient records and treatment histories.
- Stay updated with advancements in orthodontics and adopt modern techniques.
- Ensure adherence to clinic protocols, patient safety, and sterilization/infection control standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
- BDS with MDS in Orthodontics (recognized qualification).
- Valid dental license/registration to practice.
- Strong clinical expertise in orthodontic appliances and aligner therapy.
- Excellent diagnostic and treatment planning skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach.
- Familiarity with latest technologies (digital scanning, 3D imaging, aligner software) is an advantage.
Work Environment:
- Outpatient dental clinic/hospital setting.
- May require evening or weekend availability depending on clinic schedules.
