Specialist Orthodontist

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Specialist Orthodontist to provide advanced diagnosis, prevention, and correction of malocclusions and dentofacial irregularities. The Specialist Orthodontist will deliver comprehensive orthodontic care using fixed and removable appliances, clear aligners, and advanced digital treatment planning systems. This role requires a commitment to clinical excellence, patient-centered care, and adherence to the highest professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive orthodontic assessments including clinical examinations, radiographs, photographs, and digital scans
  • Diagnose complex malocclusions and craniofacial abnormalities
  • Develop and implement customized, evidence-based orthodontic treatment plans
  • Place and adjust fixed appliances (braces), clear aligners, retainers, expanders, and functional appliances
  • Manage interdisciplinary cases in collaboration with oral surgeons, periodontists, prosthodontists, and general dentists
  • Monitor treatment progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Manage orthodontic emergencies and complications
  • Provide patient and parent education regarding treatment plans, risks, oral hygiene, and post-treatment care
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with regulatory and ethical standards
  • Supervise orthodontic therapists, dental assistants, and clinical staff where applicable
  • Stay current with advancements in orthodontic techniques, materials, and digital technologies

Required Qualifications

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree
  • Completion of an accredited postgraduate orthodontic specialty training program (Master’s or equivalent)
  • Valid MOH license to practice dentistry and specialty recognition in Orthodontics
  • Strong knowledge of dentofacial orthopedics and craniofacial growth
  • Proficiency in digital orthodontics and treatment planning software
  • Excellent clinical judgment and technical skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Board certification from the American Board of Orthodontics or equivalent national certifying body
  • Experience with clear aligner systems such as Invisalign
  • Experience handling complex surgical-orthodontic and multidisciplinary cases
  • Academic or research involvement in orthodontics
