Schedule

• 3 days per week (alternate days)
• Approximately 1 hour per visit/session
• On-call or appointment-based arrangement depending on patient schedule
• Flexible timing, mutually agreed based on clinic requirements and case load

Salary

Competitive compensation package based on experience, qualifications, and case volume. Payment structure to be discussed during interview (per case or per session basis).

About the Position

Dr. Aimen Zia Dental Clinic is seeking a highly experienced Specialist Orthodontist to join our team on a flexible part-time, on-call basis. The ideal candidate should be confident in managing a wide range of orthodontic cases, from routine treatments to highly complex multidisciplinary cases, using modern orthodontic systems and digital workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct orthodontic consultations and clinical assessments.
• Diagnose malocclusions, skeletal discrepancies, crowding, spacing, and bite issues.
• Develop comprehensive and individualized orthodontic treatment plans.
• Perform orthodontic treatments using various appliance systems.
• Manage ongoing case monitoring, adjustments, and progress reviews.
• Provide patient education on treatment options, hygiene, and retention.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and treatment records.
• Work collaboratively with general dentists and specialists.
• Ensure compliance with DHA regulations and infection control standards.
• Deliver high-quality patient-centered orthodontic care.

Functional & Early Orthodontics

Retention & Post-Treatment Care

• Fixed Retainers
• Removable Retainers (Essix, Hawley)

Complex Orthodontic Cases

• Class I, II, III Malocclusions
• Deep Bite / Open Bite / Crossbite Corrections
• Severe Crowding & Spacing Cases

• Pre-prosthetic Orthodontic Treatment

Qualifications

• BDS / DDS / DMD or equivalent dental degree.
• Master's or recognized specialty qualification in Orthodontics.
• DHA License or DHA Eligibility.
• Minimum 5 years of orthodontic clinical experience preferred.
• Strong experience in Invisalign and advanced orthodontic systems.
• Ability to independently manage complex cases from diagnosis to completion.
• Strong communication and patient management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Invisalign Certification.
• Experience with digital orthodontics and intraoral scanning.
• Experience with orthodontic software and digital smile design.
• Strong record of successful clinical outcomes.
