Specialist - Pedodontist

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat dental issues, including cavities, gum diseases, malocclusion, and developmental conditions.
• Perform procedures under GA.
• Provide preventive care services such as fluoride treatments, sealants, and patient education.
• Myofunctional Therapy.
• Perform restorative and corrective procedures including fillings, crowns, and minor oral surgeries.
• Manage cases requiring behaviour management, sedation, or general anaesthesia.
• Counsel parents/guardians on oral health, growth, and development.
• Create a friendly, non-intimidating environment for children to reduce dental anxiety.
• Use age-appropriate communication techniques to explain procedures to patients and guardians.
• Provide clear post-treatment instructions and preventive care guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience in pedo
• BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) and MDS in Pedodontics & Preventive Dentistry from a recognized institution.
• Valid dental license/registration to practice in [State/Country].
• Proven experience in pediatric dental care.
• Strong diagnostic, clinical, and patient-handling skills.
• Excellent communication and empathy skills.
