Develop and execute outreach strategies, crafting personalized pitches to secure quality media coverage and links
Write and refine press materials, media pitches, and supporting documents to align with client objectives
Monitor and analyse PR performance metrics to optimize campaign effectiveness and pivot strategy when necessary
Manage proactive and reactive media opportunities, including newsjacking and campaign planning
Provide actionable insights through link gap analysis and audience targeting strategies
Build and maintain relationships with journalists and media outlets
Collaborate with SEO, Content, and Social teams to align PR activities with broader marketing strategies
Use PR tools and analytics platforms to track campaign performance and outreach success such as Buzzstream, Muckrack, Qwoted, BuzzSumo, Ahrefs, and more
Present reports and recommendations to clients with confidence and clarity
Continuously refine outreach strategies to improve response rates and placements
Contribute to the evolution of team workflows and reporting processes
Stay updated on industry trends and media landscape changes to inform PR strategies
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members as needed
Strong media relations skills with a proven track record of securing media placements
Excellent writing and editing skills with experience in crafting press materials and pitches
Ability to analyse performance data and translate insights into actionable strategies
Proficiency in PR tools and analytics platforms
Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience with integrated campaigns across PR, SEO, Content, and Social
Adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond quickly to media opportunities
Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset and problem-solving abilities
Knowledge of industry trends and audience targeting strategies
Experience in PR, media relations, or a related field
