Specialist Procurement

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for evaluating suppliers, products, and services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that approved purchases are cost-efficient and of high quality.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Having expertise to source, negotiate, and purchase materials from both local and overseas vendors.
• Evaluate vendor’s quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the project.
• Advise internal and external on issues regarding purchasing Terms & Conditions
• Resolve supply, quality, service, and invoicing issues with vendors.
• Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time and best prices, and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectations.
• Technical Evaluations and Finalization of Power & Monitoring Systems for Telecom Tower Sites.
• Execution of Procurement SOPs for sourcing, ensuring quality assurance, HSE compliance, and cost optimization.
• Negotiations for procurement of Power & Telecom Systems with Local & Global Suppliers and their customization to align the Systems with Operational strategy, objectives, and requirements at competitive pricing with scope alignment.
• Cost optimization initiatives by rationalizing the supplier prices, introducing innovative & substitute products and processes, encouraging competitive pricing, etc.
• Coordination with internal departments to capture their feedback on product performance for procurement and product and services alignment.
• Responsible for implementing internal procurement strategies to cater to high delivery and short lead time requirements.
• Develop Procurement Plan & Procurement Budgets to meet periodic requirements; establishing requirement timelines, potential suppliers, suppliers’ engagement, suppliers’ onboarding, budgeting, etc.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

A. Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Telecommunications, and Business Administration.
• Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent is preferred.

B. Minimum Experience:

• 5-7 years of experience
• 2-3 years in a similar role
