BOF Group is a multi-entity financial services group operating across payments, banking, and asset management through regulated entities in multiple jurisdictions. BOF Tech is the group’s internal technology function, responsible for building and maintaining the digital infrastructure that supports all entities.

We are currently implementing Odoo as our group-wide ERP and operational platform, and we are seeking an experienced engineer to lead and own that implementation end-to-end.

ROLE OVERVIEW

As  Odoo Implementation & Integration Engineer , you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of the Odoo deployment across BOF Group — from initial setup and configuration through to customization, third-party integrations, and ongoing platform evolution.

You will work directly with operational and business stakeholders across all entities to translate requirements into scalable, functional solutions, while owning the technical relationship with our Odoo implementation partner.

This is a hands-on, high-ownership role in a fast-paced environment. You will become the internal Odoo expert for the group.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES:

IMPLEMENTATION & CONFIGURATION

• Lead the end-to-end Odoo implementation across the group
• Configure Odoo multi-company architecture with strict data segregation and entity-level access controls
• Set up and maintain the permissions framework
• Configure and manage core modules (CRM, Sales, Accounting, HR, Document Management)
• Build and maintain entity-specific pipelines, dashboards, and reporting views
  

CUSTOMIZATION & DEVELOPMENT

• Develop custom modules and workflows
• Build and maintain custom fields, views, and automation rules tailored to each entity’s operational requirements
• Implement custom KYC and compliance workflows in coordination with compliance teams
• Own the technical documentation of all customizations and configurations

INTEGRATIONS

• Implement and maintain REST API integrations with third-party systems
• Design and maintain webhook architecture for real-time event handling across systems
• Ensure all integrations are documented, monitored, and fault-tolerant
• Evaluate and onboard new integrations as the group scales

INFRASTRUCTURE & DEPLOYMENT

• Manage Odoo deployment with multi-region architecture aligned to entity data residency requirements
• Maintain staging and production environments, manage release cycles, and oversee deployment pipelines
• Ensure platform security
• Monitor system performance, manage backups, and lead incident response for platform issues

STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT & SUPPORT

• Act as the primary internal point of contact for all Odoo-related matters across the group
• Liaise with the Odoo consulting partner
• Conduct training sessions and produce user-facing documentation for new features and modules
• Manage the helpdesk and support queue for internal Odoo users across all entities
• Proactively identify inefficiencies and propose platform improvements
  

Requirements

ESSENTIAL

• 3+ years of hands-on Odoo implementation experience
• Proven experience implementing Odoo in multi-company / multi-entity environments
• Strong Python development skills for custom module development
• Solid experience with REST API design and integration patterns
• Experience configuring Odoo CRM, Accounting, HR, and Document Management modules
• Familiarity with role-based access control and record-level security rules in Odoo
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

HIGLY DESIRABLE

• Experience in financial services, fintech, or regulated industries
• Knowledge of KYC/AML workflows and compliance process automation
• Experience integrating Odoo with payment processors or banking APIs
• Odoo Certified Developer or Functional Consultant certification
• Experience working with geographically distributed teams
