Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (No Nights, No Weekends, Paid Holidays Off)

Say goodbye to the unpredictable EMS schedule—this position offers a consistent daytime shift with absolutely no nights or weekends. Plus, you will have all major holidays off and get paid for them.

Primary Responsibilities

Enjoy a dynamic but manageable operational pace with a targeted call breakdown of 40% Specialty Care Transport, 50% Routine Interfacility Transports, and 10% Emergency Scene Calls.

  • Work in a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment, routinely staffing transports alongside a Registered Nurse and an EMT (typical crew configuration: 1 Paramedic, 1 RN, 1 EMT).
  • Deliver advanced, high-quality pre-hospital medical care to pediatric patients.
  • Rapidly assess, stabilize, and monitor critical patients throughout transport.
  • Collaborate closely with sending and receiving medical teams to ensure seamless, top-tier patient handoffs.
  • Maintain and operate state-of-the-art medical equipment, including our Stryker LIFEPAK 35 cardiac monitors, power stretcher including power isolette.

Qualifications

  • PA Paramedic Certificate/License required
  • FP-C or CCP-C preferred
  • EVOC & EMSVO credentialing
  • CPR, ACLS, PALS, and PHTLS/ITLS certifications required
  • Current UPMC medical command preferred
  • Strong communication and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment physical including lifting test and drug screen.
