Specialized Tutor for Adults with Disabilities

We are seeking a Tutor to help our clients excel academically! You will provide non-classroom instruction to students, ages 18 and over, on an individual basis.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and educate students in a non-classroom setting. Some student instruction is virtual. Work with students may be with adults that have developmental disabilities.
• Establish academic goals and milestones with students, some goals will be working on Life Skills or Social Skills.
• Document and communicate progress reports
• Provide constructive feedback for students

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in teaching, tutoring, special education, or other related fields
• Ability to build rapport with students
• Sufficient knowledge of core educational subjects
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
