Specialty Restaurant Chef - Expertise in Spanish Cuisine - Saudi Arabia - High-End Luxury Hospitality
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Specialty Restaurant Chef with deep expertise in Spanish cuisine to lead a signature fine dining concept within one of the most vibrant and luxurious hospitality settings. As the Specialty Chef, you will be entrusted with full culinary leadership-overseeing kitchen operations, mentoring your team, and most importantly, crafting exceptional, ingredient-driven menus.
Responsibilities
- Lead the concept development and execution of a premium Spanish fine dining experience.
- Curate innovative, seasonal menus inspired by Spain's regional diversity, using premium, sustainable ingredients.
- Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, quality control, hygiene standards, inventory, and cost management.
- Collaborate with front-of-house and F&B leadership to ensure seamless service and an elevated guest experience.
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing culinary team.
- Represent the restaurant in promotional activities and guest engagements as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as Chef de Cuisine or Executive Sous Chef in a fine dining Spanish or Mediterranean restaurant.
- Formal culinary training, with a strong foundation in Spanish cooking techniques and traditions.
- Creative flair with the ability to modernize traditional dishes while preserving authenticity.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with a passion for mentoring and developing kitchen talent.
- Deep understanding of seasonal and locally sourced premium ingredients.
- Experience in luxury hospitality or high-end standalone restaurants preferred.
- Fluent in English; Spanish language skills are an asset.
Salary: SAR 17-20k per month plus full expat benefits including accommodation, medical, flights etc.
