Specification Engineer - Acoustics

Hira Industries, is looking for a technically driven Specification Engineer – Acoustics to support project specifications, consultant engagement, and acoustic solution design across the UAE market. This role focuses on promoting high-performance acoustic and insulation systems by working closely with consultants, architects, and developers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical meetings and presentations with consultants, architects, and clients to promote Aerosound acoustic solutions.
• Review project specifications and propose compliant acoustic systems aligned with project requirements and international standards.
• Perform acoustic analysis, including sound transmission, noise control, and reverberation assessments.
• Prepare detailed acoustic calculations, reports, and technical submittals.
• Influence consultants to specify Aerosound products through technical justification and value engineering.
• Work closely with design teams during pre-tender and tender stages to secure product specifications.
• Ensure Aerosound is listed in approved vendor lists with leading consultants and developers.
• Track ongoing and upcoming projects to identify opportunities for acoustic solutions.
• Conduct on-site inspections, mock-ups, and installation supervision to ensure compliance with acoustic performance standards.
• Support sales and marketing teams with technical expertise and training.
• Maintain strong relationships with consultants through regular follow-ups and technical support.
• Contribute to the development and updating of technical catalogues and acoustic data sheets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Acoustical Engineering.
• 2 years of experience in acoustic materials, insulation, or building material specification (Must Have)
• Experience working with Architectural / Structural / Civil consultants and securing specifications in construction projects.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and technical writing skills.
• UAE driving license preferred.
