Position Summary
As the Specification Manager for Saudi Arabia, you will be the technical bridge connecting Oriental Yuhong with key decision-makers in the local market. Your core mission is to influence design decisions by architects, consulting engineers, and developers to get Oriental Yuhong products and technical specifications written into project drawings and tender documents. You are not just a sales engineer, but a trusted technical consultant who drives business growth through expertise and relationship building.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Specification Influence & Advocacy:

Proactively engage, visit, and build long-term, solid relationships with local top-tier architectural design institutes, engineering consulting firms, major developers, and contractors.

Effectively influence designers and engineers through technical presentations, product training, and inital papers to specify Oriental Yuhong products as the preferred or approved brand for their projects.

Deeply track the design phase of key projects, ensuring our product technical specs are accurately incorporated into bidding documents.
2. Technical Consultation & Support:

Provide professional waterproofing system solutions that comply with local Saudi standards (e.g., SASO) and international standards to designers, contractors, and clients.

Prepare and submit competitive technical proposals, calculations, and product samples to support project bids.

Resolve technical application-related issues on project sites, providing expert guidance.
3. Market & Competitive Intelligence:

Develop a deep understanding of the Saudi construction market dynamics, relevant technical standards, and regulatory requirements.

Monitor and analyze competitor products, technical strategies, and market activities to provide insights for adjusting company strategy.
4. Cross-functional Collaboration:

Work closely with the overseas sales team to convert technical specifications into actual sales orders.

Communicate with product management and R&D departments to feed back market needs and promote product optimization and localization.

Assist the marketing department in planning and executing technical seminars and promotional events in the Saudi region.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential Requirements:

Education & Major:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Building Materials, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the building materials industry (especially in waterproofing, insulation, coatings, or flooring) as a Technical Sales Engineer, Specification Manager, or Application Engineer.
Experience in the Saudi Arabia or Middle East market is highly preferred.

Language Skills:
Full professional proficiency in English.
Proficiency in Arabic is a significant advantage.

Technical Knowledge:
Familiarity with architectural design and construction processes, with the ability to read and understand construction drawings and technical specifications.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Customer-centric mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:

Existing network within local Saudi architectural design firms or engineering companies.

Previous working experience with international building material brands (e.g., Sika, BASF, GCP, Sopro).

Familiarity with Oriental Yuhong's product portfolio and technical solutions.
