Role Overview:
As a Specification Engineer within Saint-Gobain Gyproc, you will leverage your technical expertise to promote and specify gypsum-based solutions, including plasterboard systems, to architects, consultants, and contractors. Your role is pivotal in ensuring that Gyproc products are integrated into building designs, meeting both performance and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Technical Consultation & Specification Development:

Engage with architects, engineers, and consultants to provide technical support and guidance on the selection and application of Gyproc products.

Develop and present detailed specifications and technical documentation to support product integration into project designs.

Project Support & Coordination:

Collaborate with project teams to ensure the correct application of Gyproc products, addressing any technical queries or challenges that arise during the design and construction phases.

Assist in the preparation of tender documents and respond to requests for information (RFIs) related to product specifications.

Training & Knowledge Sharing:

Conduct training sessions and seminars for clients and internal teams to enhance understanding of Gyproc products and their applications.

Stay updated on industry trends, building codes, and regulations to provide accurate and current information to stakeholders.

Relationship Management & Business Development:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including architects, consultants, and contractors, to promote Gyproc products and solutions.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the specified region.
Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

3 to 5 years of experience in a specification or technical support role within the construction industry, preferably with gypsum or plasterboard products.

Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

Proficiency in technical software and tools related to specification development.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
