Job Title:
SPED Teacher (4th–5th Grade | ELA & Math | Push-In/Pull-Out)

Location: Wilmington, DE

Compensation: $65 per hour

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, In-Person

About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher for 4th and 5th grade students at one of our partner schools in Wilmington, DE. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ academic and social development by providing individualized instruction and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs

  • Provide specialized instruction in line with state standards and student IEP goals

  • Create an inclusive, supportive, and engaging classroom environment

  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success

  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing interventions and accommodations as needed

  • Maintain accurate records and comply with all school and district policies

Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education Teaching Certification for the state of Delaware

  • Experience teaching upper elementary grades (4th–5th) preferred

  • Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills

  • Ability to differentiate instruction and adapt materials to meet individual student needs

  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and student-centered learning environment
