King’s College Hospital London – UAE is seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our growing team, supporting patients with neurological and movement disorders, including Parkinson’s disease.


Role Summary:


As a Speech & Language Pathologist, you will assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing difficulties in adults with neurological conditions, working closely with neurologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and specialist nurses.


You’ll play a vital role in improving patient quality of life through personalized therapy, education, and support.


Key Responsibilities:


Conduct thorough assessments of speech, language, voice, and swallowing functions

Develop and deliver evidence-based treatment plans for patients with Parkinson's disease and other neurological conditions.

Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and care planning

Provide caregiver and patient education and support

Contribute to service development, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives

Support training, workshops, and community awareness activities

Qualifications:


Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Speech and Language Pathology

Valid professional registration/licensure (e.g. DHA, DOH)

Minimum 3-5 yrs of experience in adult neuro-rehabilitation or hospital setting

Experience with Parkinson’s disease, dysphagia management, and AAC is highly desirable

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills

Passionate about patient-centered care and continuous learning
